In the wake of a crippling judicial ruling, the online music swapping service, Napster, is adding copyright filters to prevent downloading of copyrighted music.  Pro-Napster advocates argue that swapping of copyrighted music does not damage the music industry, and point to increasing CD sales as the proof.  Record company spokesmen say that Napster facilitates the pirating of music, which is equivalent to stealing artists' work.
